This is the elven forest kingdom, settled by the ancients and inhabited ever since them.
The castle and houses blend seamlessly into the dense forest in a way that outsiders would completely overlook their existence on a quick glance. The hilly locale with deep underbrush allows the partially subterranean hovels to appear like part of the landscape. The castle is built entirely underground, beneath the roots of centuries-old oak trees and along a river that flows to a massive waterfall. The entrance to the castle lies within the mist of this waterfall, shielding its presence from outsiders.
Just south of Elmyira is a well-worn road for trade by merchants on horse-cart. The road connects with other cities in Elfheim that lie to the west and the east.
