Hoedr begins with the appearance of a wounded animal. He is blind and was tricked into the murder of Baldur, at the hands of Loki. This led him to hide, in fear of the repercussions. He feels remorse and realizes that he is just making the situation worse by hiding from his fellow gods (because they slaughter mortals in the hunt for him). He joins the party to return to Asgard, where he will face the consequences and stop the violence against humanity. On this journey home, he evolves. He becomes more confident. I don't want to reveal the full details here, but I will say that he becomes more of a leader.
