The game I played the most when I was little was 007 with my brother and my cousins. So thats what got me hooked on shooters.

Shooters are basicly simulations of like for example Call of Duty is like a simulation of what it was or is like in war, others like Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption are basicly shooters but the some what Rps with out taking turns to kill each other. But the main reason most people like them are stress relivers, boredem, or they just like shooting the hell of stuff

There are a lot of great shooters out there (Perfect Dark, the Gears of War Franchise, Unreal Tournament, Quake to name a few), and I play them for the multiplayer. In my opinion, a lot of shooters have some of the best multiplayer options around.

In short, the multiplayer.

The button I carry around doesn't necessarily make things EASIER...

RPS's are the best shooters (RPS=Role playing shooter) such as Fallout or Borderlands.

Have you never geard of a RPS? It's a litteral genre. Game informer, x-play, attack of the show, and others all use RPS. Even the creator of borderlands two (comming out september) called it a RPS.

Most RPS's are in first person. I never said they are the best is a fact. The statement was obviously a oppinion. I thought it was rather obvious anyway. :l
