Its not so much "stoners" and "pot heads" win, its more of people with ailments can feel better.
Whats sad is most people do not understand the medicinal usefullness cannabis has.
Instead they focus on it as a recreational drug instead, and call it a gateway drug and whatnot, when in reality it really isnt.
HIV patients (Aids sufferers) use it every day to regain their appetites, Cancer patients use it to aliveate the pain and suffering brought on from the disease, Diabetics use to alieve the pain from neuropathy, the list goes on.
I am actually surprised that they havent done this sooner, as the amount of revenue the states can make off of taxing this can pretty much solve the nations tax deficit in less time than anything that was though of before.
Also i think cops should spend more time trying to catch killers and people selling bad drugs like coke than worrying about some stoner who smokes pot in his room. I don't like the stuff my self but it seems to help alot of people and that is A-OK by me.
Guys, quite frankly, the laws shouldnt exist, its control.
Indeed, weed is very harmful, but if one wants to fry one's brain out, so be it, its their brain.
Children, however, should NEVER be exposed to weed, like i said, its a horrible thing to experience (yes, i WOULD know that).
Smoking, on the other hand, is also harmfull, and, me being a pipe smoker myself, is a nasty habbit, but if one wants to burn their lungs out, so be it.
Long story short, <b<> STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS AND OTHER HARMFUL HABBITS[/b]
I know my apprehensions might never be allayed. And so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written...
now also remember, just because Osama... errrr Obama legalizes drugs, it ABSOLUTELY does not make it automatically healthy and ok to do drugs. Laws can only form the way we live, NOT bend reality.
