Most licenced games are crappy, but there are some good ones, like Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom (GameCube, PS2, Xbox). I know it sounds stupid, but that game was awesome.

Eternal Sonata: An amazing JRPG based off of music for the Xbox360. It's like Final Fantasy but more upbeat.

Tales Series: It died out after the Xbox release but the older ones were amazing

I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream: Old DOS game based off my favourate short story. If you read the story you should play the game too.

Little Nemo: Dream Master: One of the best NES games with the strangest plot and gameplay ever. Picture Where the Wild Things Are except more entertaining and incredibly difficult.

When I first started playing 5 years ago, it was little known. Now almost everyone knows about it. I went to my local library and I saw like 5 kids playing it.

Some pretty early mac games. they came out about 10 years ago. both made by Pangea and both awesome!

Also a more recent game, not sure if you've heard of it. its called team fortress 2. probably my favourite game right now. awesome fps with tons of different items and stuff! i highly recommend it, aswell as the other two listed above.
